Our mission is to provide compassionate, personalized, and high-quality oral surgical care that prioritizes the comfort, safety, and well-being of each patient. We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment, empowering patients through education, and delivering exceptional results with integrity and empathy.
At Somerset Oral Surgery, we work tirelessly to provide each patient we see with quality oral healthcare that delivers exceptional results. We go beyond assessing your dental health—we use that information to craft a tailored treatment plan, taking your goals and desires into account. Drs. Hecht, Gordon, and Ramachandran understand that many individuals may have anxiety surrounding oral health procedures. That’s why they take the time to fully educate each patient and offer services that can best address what they need.
Our goal is to provide the best experience you’ve ever had at an oral health practice. With two locations in Central New Jersey, you’ll have access to the care you need to achieve the smile of your dreams. Whether you’re looking for wisdom teeth extractions, a full-arch restoration, or another service, we guarantee you’ll leave our practice with a radiant and healthier smile on your face.
Growing up, Dr. Hecht’s father was a builder. Despite not being in the dental industry, his father suggested that—because Dr. Hecht was good with his hands—he should consider dentistry. In school, he discovered his passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery and hasn’t looked back. Dr. Hecht enjoys performing an array of oral surgery procedures, which is why he searched for a practice that offered a full scope of services so that he could use his expertise and experience to offer every patient a solution to any oral or maxillofacial issue they experience. He found that at Somerset Oral Surgery, where he has practiced since 1998.
After discovering the beauty of the intersection of dentistry and medicine, Dr. Gordon found that utilizing his knowledge in both fields was crucial in making a significant impact on patient lives. Dr. Gordon joined Somerset Oral Surgery in 2023. Dr. Gordon wanted to work at a practice that had a team environment with good, supportive people who could act as resources for one another when creating treatments for patients.
Dr. Ramachandran’s inspiration to pursue oral medicine began with an interest in the unique relationship between dentistry and medicine. This natural aptitude for complexity and challenge has made her highly successful at practicing the full scope of oral medicine. Dr. Ramachandran takes pride in identifying and managing systemic oral diseases, including orofacial pain disorders, salivary gland disorders, pre-malignant and malignant oral lesions, ulcers, and more.
